Setting up Dymo Label Printer

To get started, connect Dymo printer to your computer and install software following instructions and install disk that came with your Dymo Printer.

Once you’ve successfully installed the Dymo software:

1. Go to My computer > C: drive > Program files and open the Dymo Label folder. Leave this window open. Note: if there is no Dymo Label folder in your program files then you have not successfully installed the Dymo software yet.
2. Now go to Start > Search and do a file search for Label Files.
3. Drag and drop the Label Files folder into the Dymo Label folder that you opened in the previous step.

Now you have to download the CompanyBe label file:

1. Using Internet Explorer, go to http://www.companybe.com/productlabel.lwl to begin download.
2. Choose Save to disk and save the file to your desktop.
3. Go back to: My computer > C: drive > Program files > Dymo Label and open the Label Files folder.
4. Drag and drop the productlabel.lwl file from the Desktop into the Label Files folder.
5. Open Internet Explorer. On the top toolbar, go to: Tools > pop-up blocker > pop-up blocker settings.
6. Add www.companybe.com to your allowed sites list then close.
7. Now you should completely shut down this computer, then re-start it. Note: If you’re labels don’t print out of the Sales Floor Manager, you may need to turn the Pop-up blocker off all together.
8. You are now ready to print labels out of your Sales Floor Manager.

Using the Dymo Label program that was installed with the label printer, you can edit the look of your labels by opening the productlabel.lwl file in the Design feature.
